Update: I will continue to attend; albeit not weekly but probably biweekly the aformentioned church as they said nothing objectionable today and they have some Baptist leanings mixed in with Anabaptist in their founding. Given the distance and the high cost of living in that area it is unlikely I could move there so for now I can continue as a nonmember. They are doing a lot of evangelism; including a weekend outreach upcoming (won't get into details). Ideally; I would like to find a church that believes as I do on the divorce remarriage issue but that hasn't been possible locally. The one that did when I was in Western PA also is into infant baptism.
