Last week I visited a non-denominational Christian church and during the 1 hour sermon the pastor played a video made by AI that he liked. He then quoted the words from the auto generated AI text. After the video the audience clapped. Am I the only one concerned about AI used in churches? Shouldn't the source instead be direct from the Bible? I'm disturbed by this and I already met a pastor (unrelated church) who admitted he uses chat GPT to write his sermons. I have no doubt it saves time to give him outlines, BUT, isn't it possible this technology can slowly nudge people one direction or the other on what the truth is? Facebook admitted it censored Christian and conservative content in past years. Google has tinkered with search results in the past to remove certain people suppress conservative or Christian opinions. Most big tech AI companies are still headquartered around San Francisco (like Sodom and Gomorrah). Much of the information in AI is scanned from Reddit and Wikipedia which is hugely leaning against Christianity and wholesome family values. If people get in the habit of blindly trusting AI for guidance and now using for sermons to influence others I do not feel this will end well. What if the antichrist comes in electronic form like this. Am I over reacting?

I fully agree with you Bryan. A similar thing happened in a Bible Study/Fellowship home group my wife and I used to attend recently. For the study, a video was played, of a lady who was a comedian by profession, sharing from the Word. As you can imagine, the study was interspersed with comedy. We left that group and also that Church. Very sadly, we're seeing more and more Church leaders resorting to AI for sermon preparation. I don't know why? Maybe because they want to get the preparation over and done with quickly and not having to put in the much-needed prayer, personal study, and waiting on God's Spirit for direction? And most often, we, the congregation, are unaware of such things and simply receive the Word as given. Sure, we can still receive blessing from the Word spoken, but if errors are mixed within, those untrained in the Word can surely be misled into believing lies (as you wrote). We would do well to remember the Apostle's wise words to Timothy in 2 Timothy 4:3,4; these truths are not only presently found in false Churches, but will become more rampant as good Christian men engage other devices to help & support their ministries, casting aside the LORD Himself to be their only Guide & Inspiration. LORD, help us to be alert and vigilant to these ungodly developments.

A man who uses aI to get his sermons is expecting the world to give him the living Word . And clearly neither has or is studying the scriptures but is ignorant and knows little if anything of God.

Call one City Sodom and Gomorrah is not righteous judgment . They are all the same./ Houston was terrible , San Antonio is stagnated, transport and cargo hubs , no people.
