I am having trouble keeping track of names! I'm trying to keep track of names of descendants that appear, I am an early reader and only 50 or so pages in. Is there a better way to keep track of individuals names, it is necessary to keep track of every person? I'm getting a little lost

Hi Sobeck, you will continue to struggle with the many names, unless you relate them to the context of their story. Consider, for example, the genealogy of Jesus in Matthew's gospel , chapter one, a long list of the descendents of Jesus. Or look at Genesis 4:18 with the begats (sired), which I assume you've already encountered. I'm a Christian of 49 years and, although I have a good memory, I would still struggle to remember any but the more well known names of the biblical text. If you care to ask any questions, feel free to contact me. Bill

I don't memorize the list but to me it shows how the generations are connected and adds credibility by how specific and detailed the Bible is. You know where it is if you need to refer back to it in the future.
